To the entire Eckert family,
I am sorry for your loss. I was in Mr. Eckert's Chemistry classes at WAHS and all of my siblings had him as well. He will be remembered as a kind teacher with a warm sense of humor. Certainly an icon to the alums. God bless you.

Rest in Peace, sir. You are remember fondly by many of your former students.

Dear Nancy and Family,
So sorry for your loss. Mr. Eckert was an inspirational person. My two years of chemistry at Wilson High School inspired me to be a chemistry major in college. I was also fortunate to interact with you and Dick at the Russian Church in Bethlehem. My Uncle is a member at the church, and he and Dick played basketball at Hellertown High. I also recall when you both graciously allowed us to see your home when Kathy
